Protect Alberta's Water: Water Not Coal Petition Signing Event!

Note: By the small traffic circle - McKenzie Towne Ave SE & High St. SE - South of Sobeys and just West of Tim Hortons.😀❤️💦 Albertans are uniting to defend our precious headwaters, clean drinking water, wildlife, and Rocky Mountain landscapes from the threat of new coal mining in the Eastern Slopes. Led by Corb Lund and supported by thousands across the province, the Water Not Coal citizen initiative petition is calling for legislation to ban all new coal exploration and mining in Alberta's Rockies (except for mines already in production as of January 1, 2026). We need 177,732 valid in-person signatures by June 10, 2026, to bring this to the legislature — and every signature counts toward protecting our water, land, and air for future generations. This is a non-partisan effort: clean water matters to all of us!
